My experience with Motor City Garage was great! Dane didn’t hesitate to give me an estimate over the phone for the likely solution to fixing my power window that broke. The other shops I called wanted to inspect before giving an estimate, a tactic that I don’t appreciate. Dane and crew were able to get my car back to me in less than 24 hours after my initial call, with the window working perfectly after installing a new regulator.

Dane was amazing. I just happen to be bringing my coworker to pick up her car and my AC had gone out and they were able to take my car the same day and get it working and then they special ordered a part to fix it more and came back and he even did my inspection for me. Everything was reasonably priced and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of especially being a female. I feel like that happens a lot. My AC works great and I even reached out about bringing my car back by for some other repairs they are so accommodating and just told me to bring it by when I had the chance. Will continue to use them for all my mechanic repair repairs thank you, Dane!

I really wanted to have a good experience here because of the reviews and it was a recommendation from a friend. However, that was not the case. Upon walking in, Johnny at the front desk didn't even look up to greet me. He had his airpods in, head down, and when he finally spoke it was as if I was bothering him by walking in. I asked for a quote to fix my inside driver door handle. He told me if they even open up the panel to see what's needed they're going to charge me $170 for an hour of labor no matter what. The total cost just to fix the door handle was $224. I was not called when my car was ready. I called at 3:30 & again rudely, Johnny said, "I was just about to send you a text to pay & I'm setting up your lockbox because if you come in the next 15 minutes I will not be here and the door will be locked!" They close at 4. I also had them take a look at my AC & believe they did something to it in the process because before dropping it off it cooled while in motion. After picking it up it doesn't cool at all. They did fix my door handle but the whole experience was unpleasant.

The dealership wanted to charge me three times the cost for work on my Toyota minivan. I called Motor City Garage for a second opinion. Not only did Motor City Garage charge less, they were completely honest and advised me that the issue didn't exist and no work actually needed to be done! No longer using dealership service. Taking my business to Motor City Garage. Hard enough to find a good mechanic shop, but these guys are also fully transparent, open and honest. Rare find.

I just wanted to share a great experience, I had with Motor City, Garage . I live in Charlotte, my daughter, is a college student, in Raleigh and she had something go on with her vehicle! I found this customer on google, I had her car towed to Motor city. They were very thorough on what needed to be done and in my opinion, very reasonable with the price as her car is a Mercedes Benz. They quickly, got her back on the road! My experience, with Johnny, was top notch! I would recommend, anyone in the Raleigh, area to go see them, if you are having any car issues!
